CPI 2020: Vietnam to step up anti-corruption efforts for more substantial changes
In 2020, Vietnam scored 36/100, down by 1 point compared to 2019, ranking 104/180 on the global index. While lower than the average score of ASEAN (42/100), Vietnam’s CPI score exceeds those of the Philippines, Laos, Myanmar, and Cambodia.

Today, on the International Anti-Corruption Day 9th December, the Danish Ambassador to Vietnam, H.E. Mr. Kim Højlund Christensen and the Executive Director of Towards Transparency Ms. Nguyen Thi Kieu Vien signed an agreement to start a one-year project to enhance the role of youth to challenge corruption and promote a culture of integrity in Vietnam.
